This policy explains what cookies are and which ones this website uses. The short version: we set none. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking. For visitors, the only cookies that can come from our pages are Google’s, set by the map on our Contact page.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser so it can remember something about your visit: that you are logged in, what is in a shopping basket, or which pages you have looked at. Browsers can also store information in other ways, such as local storage and session storage, which do a similar job.

How ProBalance Advisors uses cookies

We don’t. This site sets no cookies for visitors: no analytics, no advertising and no social media tools. Our fonts are stored on our own server, so loading our pages doesn’t contact any other company, apart from the Google map on our Contact page (see below).

The only thing the site keeps in your browser is a small note that WordPress, the software the site runs on, stores while your tab is open, recording whether your browser can display emoji. It holds no personal information and is deleted when you close the tab. The only cookies the site itself ever sets belong to its login page, which is used by the people who manage the site.

Third-party cookies

The map on our Contact page is an embedded Google Map, loaded from Google’s servers. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies in your browser; Google’s cookie policy explains them. We don’t control those cookies and we receive no information from them. If you would rather avoid them, you don’t need the map: our address is written out beside it. No other page on this site loads anything from another company.

Your choices regarding cookie policy

Because we set no cookies, there is nothing to accept or refuse on this site, which is why you won’t see a cookie banner. You can still block or delete cookies, including Google’s, in your browser’s settings, usually under Privacy or Site data. Blocking cookies doesn’t change how our own pages work.
