Price and contract

How much does it cost?

$100 a month, flat. It covers monthly bookkeeping, bank and credit card reconciliation, transaction categorization, a Profit & Loss Statement, a Balance Sheet, the monthly financial package and a professional review before completion.

No. There will be a monthly based relationship and you can make changes at any time.

The $100 package covers most independent private service professionals. When you need more, we do that too — quoted separately, never bundled in. See services.

The work

Seven things, done every month, on time:

Anything beyond those seven is quoted separately, before any work starts. Never bundled into the $100.

Yes. We will also help you to clean your books, which is important to run the business smoothly, helps in good decision making and minimizes your tax liability. We will ensure that everything is up to standard, giving you the peace of mind to run your business.

We don't just do basic bookkeeping. We provide professional services with free consultation and advice on the decisions that can help you grow your business.

Every month a bookkeeper reads the file before it goes out — checks the categories, questions anything that looks off, and closes the period. You get statements you can hand a CPA without apology.

Software and access

Our bookkeepers are advanced certified in industry-leading software like QuickBooks and Xero. You will always maintain ownership and control of your books while we work inside them.

Yes. We are US-based, remote bookkeepers using the latest technology and software, which ultimately saves your time and money.

You can communicate as often as you like. You will have all the access to your records to review the performance anytime. We are always available to answer your questions and provide advice.

Taxes and 1099s

A 1099 is the U.S. tax form used to report income that isn't wages from a regular W-2 job. If you work freelance or on contract, that's the form your income arrives on — and clean monthly books are what make it straightforward to file.

You might receive a 1099 for freelance or contract work, bank interest, investment income, and certain other payments.

Yes. Our own CPA prepares and signs your return from the books we already keep for you, so nothing has to be reconstructed in April. Tax work is quoted separately, before anything starts, and never bundled into the $100. See tax preparation.

Working with us
